This was my first stay at the Louvre guest house and my expectations have been exceeded. I have never had such exceptional hospitality in any of the hotels, B&B’s, guest lodges that I have stayed in whilst on my business travels over the last 10 years or so.

Nothing backward about this homely, yet sophisticated, oasis in the beautiful maize-basin of South Africa.
The hosts are generous, welcoming, and well-travelled, which is evident from the chic and modern ambience that envelops you after a tiring day.
The staff are efficient and friendly in providing a comfortable service.
We had breakfast and dinner on both days of our stay. On every occasion the food was fresh, prepared to perfection and served in generous portions.
Highly recommended and not to be missed when you’re staying over for business or pleasure in the maize capital of South Africa.
